Okay, I won't be trying that one...

You know, two Finnish ladies published a tofu cookbook recently. First one ever made about the subject in these neck of the woods.

I believe they are indeed donuts without holes. You know, most of donuts I had as a kid were called "munkki". They are sugar-coated, have jam (usually rasberry) inside and have no hole. I'll see if I can find a pic for ya... :)

Someone told me that if you eat a donut it stays in your system for 3 days because its so hard to digest. Is that true?  :-[

I haven't heard that one. But I have heard that drinking coffee early in the morning will mix the digestion for the whole day.

I doubt that it takes any longer to pass a donut than it does anything else.  Consider the fact that the human digestive system is normally unable to fully digest the skin on a kernel of corn, which is why the day after eating corn, you'll normally find nearly whole kernels in your droppings.
