So I went online this morning all set to get my Rolling Stones tickets. I had 4 different ticketmaster phone #'s and 3 computers working it. They went on sale at 10 am. I was ready.

They sold out in 5 minutes. Gone. The WHOLE place. Then I go to check ticket agency's and it looks like they have all the tickets. Here is one I saw:

SEC: FLD A4 ROW: 15
$3,581 each

How is this possible? Its like legalized scalping. Im just bummed out. I was looking forward to going. What a scam. :(

But at least you can say that you tried your best.
But $3500 for tickets?! That's robbery! >:(

If you can get annoyed about wanting to see a couple of wrinkled up geezers, safe your dough until you get here on your cruise.
Gots plenty of nude beaches to take ya to and there free. ;;D

Dam I think I paid $ 17.00 for my ticket back in the early 70's when they toured and played in Akron.....and just think.....I don't even remember anything cept sumbody stealin a cops gun out of his holster in the intense packed crowd on the field and that line of cops chaseing the person in a long line rageing thru the people like choc swirling in milk. And people throwing stuff at cops in the bleachers as they walked thru.......bunch kept tossin stuff at them as they'd walk past me.....so as usual they all looked at me. Luckily they didn't toss ME OUT. I remember Mic wore a silver suit on stage tho.....was a far ways away and my visual effects were on LOW. I got there a day early and camped out without sleeping. Imagine that.....back in the 70's.......no way. Old crank yanker Pam ;)

July the twenty third, nineteen sixty six, table seating at Lagoon in Salt Lake City, six bucks. Mormon kids in white shirts and ties listening intently and applauding politely,PRICELESS.

I've heard Ozz fest tickets are close to $ 100.00 for LAWN seats.....which means you stand or sit where ya stop.......can't take in umbrellas (deadly weapons).......gotta pay $ 6.00 for a beer and can't take in coolers anymore with food or drinks (takes away money from sponsers).......can't wear chain wallets or belts (fight gear).......hey when are they gonna get smart and bring back PAY TOILETS !!! Mite as well.......money to be made there since it's all about profit verses fun. Anyone remember the GODZ......there from around here and we go see em off and on.....a freind boyfreind is in the band. So that's bout as close to concerts as we get these days. Were all those phone numbers in the state of Mass?

I find the best way to get hot tix for a Boston show is to call the ticketmaster in NY, not many people calling NY for a Boston show ;;D

Pay toilets?? They have enough trouble gettin' the drunks to use the port-a-potty... If they put in pay toilets, there'll be a river flowin' past the beer tent before the soundcheck is even finished.

Oh that reminds me... The Beatles. My mum confessed once that she had a crush on Ringo! When he came to play in Helsinki, I offered to take mum to his concert. She refused, though... She was so shocked to see that he's aged! ;;D

(I can understand that...mum looks like 40 instead of 60... ;) must be the donuts, eh? ;))
