Little Savannah and you will be sharing smiling snuggles together. Yes, please post a pic of you and the new apple of your eye. Don's picture of you must have caught you in wrong lighting or something, but the scarf was cool though. ;) :) Know when to say when with the little cheeky kisses. 122 or more per day means sharing is suddenly becoming overcome by the "tickled pink" syndrome. Title: Re: A DAY FOR BABIES.... Margi's a grandmaw... Post by Margi on May 13th, 2005, 9:56am LOL thanks everyone! And, Nancy - I can't wait to hear Princess Savannah say ANYTHING! She can call me whatEVER her pretty little heart desires! :) I was very honoured to be there for her delivery and was able to hold my Grandgirl within minutes of her birth. It was an in-freakin-credible experience, one I will treasure. Mum and Baby are home already - released from hospital last night. Grampa Mike was able to hold Princess Savannah in his arms for the first time and...actually...he was having a cluster at the time. Best abortive in the world though - he quickly snorted a 'trex on the way home from the hospital so by the time we were delivering them home, it had abated a bit but was still hanging on. Once Savannah was in his arms though - it completely dissipated. We MAY have found the cure for clusters!! Get your kids to give you a GrandGirl! Might be a lil tricky to get them to do that several times a day though. ;) And..sadly, Don's pic of me is pretty close these days. except I look a bit more like Keith Richards/Mick Jagger this morning. Was a pretty emotional day yesterday! But worth every second of it! Again, thanks everyone! |

I then sat with Princess Savannah sleeping on my chest while I chatted with her dad (who regaled the tale of my precious GrandGirl pooping on him last night while he changed her didy ;;D) and we sat like that for an hour. Baby awoke and wanted Mummy today so I was able to go lay her down with my girl (who woke up with a SMILE on her face, first time in her life THAT ever happened) and cheerfully bid them good day. I then went to buy flowers for my garden. Grandparenting ROCKS. |
