never mind the text... it tells about Finnish Easter traditions... ;)

it I recall right, mämmi doesn't really smell at all. It's made from rye flour and some other eatable stuff. Some like it, some (like me) hate it.

Sandie, it doesn't look yummy to me...but nothing can be worse than some Japanese cookies I tried that tasted like fish.  They're made with cod liver oil... :-[

Alligator is actually pretty good. Shark meat is good too.

Even more interesting though is stingray wings.

David Coulthard is my hero. He is IMHO one of the greats and a TRUE sportsman. He doesn't pull dirty stunts like schuey and I read every interview with him or article on him. BUT.. we were talking about Finns and he didn't match that criteria!

You haven't had a delicious meal till you’ve had crispy pig ears and tripe…the stomach of the pig…

Wait, pig’s feet yummm….

What about blood sausauge…made with pigs blood,  poured into pigs intestines…speaking of intestines…ever had chittlings???  

Oh and fried pig’s or baby cow’s brains…lightly seasoned and floured and fried.  Great in a sammich.  Oh, did you know that brains puff up when they’re fried…?

I can go on, but I’m getting sick.

All the things I just mentioned are delicacies where I come from…

We have black pudding here which is made from blood. Then there are cockles and winkles and jellied eels. All equally vile. Faggots and spotted dick are actually lovely but I bet some of you wouldn't even give them a try LOL Haggis is another one that is a bit "different" all sorts of gubbins (traditionally) boiled in a sheeps stomach.

I think every country going has some vile stuff. When I was in Sweden they had blood bread which is about the nastiest thing I have ever tried.

Actually, I knew that people in Peru eat guinea pigs... I naturally would starve to death before that.

But girls, you must come to Finland. We have another culinary delight for you: blood pancakes! yep, made of blood! And they are served already in school cafeterias... we have free meals in schools... another dish I hate... :(

What’s wrong with chicken feet?  They’re yummy…I have tons of recipes for them.  The thing about chicken feet is that you gotta keep it simple so you can really taste chewy skin.   Above all, you do not want to overdo it with seasoning or you will mask the natural flavor of them.

Chisel out enough room in the microwave for your thawed beefalo; the stuff in back, not the package from 1998, leave in plastic tray. Mix with Hamburger Helper, onion sticks, and Ketchup enhanced green tomato paste. Toss in some fake salt and Bacon Bits if you wanna go nuts.

Your timer is probably kaput. Not to worrry. Head for the couch, pop in one of your Celebrity Poker videos and relax. When the smoke alarm goes off, it's done. http://www.netsync.net/users/charlies/gifs/panfire.gif

After you've satisfied your neighbors and the fire trucks have gone, take out the meatloaf. I usually find that it's a bit easier to separate the melted plastic from the meatloaf if you run it under cold water.
