They both started out as angry at the established Mores.  (anti-black)   (caste) systems

Instead of being a HItler.  They choose to show their anger in a positive light by changing it.

and that they did.

Like a resident we recently evicted. She was angry.....BUT..........she still left us some nice flounder fillets.


She left them in the heating vents.

Anger is a wonderful motivating force for good or bad...like Don said above - depends on how you use it. :)

I think a lot of people who really get things done thrive on being angry about SOMEthing.

True ... but you didn't say productive and good for society as a whole angry ppl... LOL   ;;D  

I, along with many others, were thinking in terms of angry and gonna make everyone else pay for it type angry ppl -- Hitler was a good example of little man syndrome ... I'm little and pissed he tried the genocide thing for a while ... now, if you believe in hell, he is the devil's butt monkey ...

It is a valid point that you make in terms of Mother Theresa --- she wasn't angry at ppl but rather that such poverty exists in the world ... she lived in that poverty doing all that she could to help ...

Again, the MLK --- angry that such inequity exists due to race --- took that anger and used it as a force for change and good ...

So the point is well taken, is yes these ppl were pissed but they chose to use that energy for the good of others rather than try to conquer the world ... that ain't a bad thing at all.  Wonder if they had CH ??
