Title: Tails from the script Post by cootie on May 4th, 2005, 10:48pm I think I almost got SERIOULSLY swindled today.....what do you think ? An odd strange couple bought a dog from me yesturday.....it was running and playing and jumping on us before they left. Now they are saying it has a broken foot and they need $ 300.00 for surgery ??? It sounds like a light fracture and I told him splinting it made more sense then big bucks surgery.....my foot is broken and I still ain't running around jumping on people and I had no surgery. I think the guy is tryin to get cash out of me sayin it is messed up and GET THE DOG FIXED which is what it needs to have done NOW anyway. They could of accidentally stepped on it's foot or it hurt it there.....was not limping at all here. So I am haveing him send the exrays to MY vet for evaluation but NOT for me to pay for it but for a second opinion....and my vet will probly set them straight they can't prove it was done here and dog was NOT lame here. I don't think either of the people work....the guy mentiond he gets a check monthly and they were NICE people but not kite rite if ya know what I mean ? He said they have NO MONEY to fix the dogs foot (which am sure they have no money to get the dog nueter'd either and is probly runnin round humping there other dog) and no vet will do anything till they have all that cash up front. I smell a RAT Pam Wonder'd what ya's thought cuz I got a feeling I ain't gonna hear the end of this from that guy........arghhhhhh.....all I need is more SHIT......... |

Title: Re: Tails from the script Post by cootie on May 4th, 2005, 11:35pm I woke up one nite with a kitten on my face and scared it and it did a dam BURNOUT on my nose......I mean it sliced it wide open. Hard to touch that kinda thing up with makeup.....geeze it looked horrible for a long time. Luckily I love cats.....well lucky for the cat. Yeah I am starting to think them people that bought that dog HAD an alterier motive wantin that cash today cuz that young dog needed to be fixed pronto and maybe they thought I would fall for it and send money thinkin it was hurt and then they could get stuff done plus the foot splinted. Freaks me out people would pull that shit....maybe I am wrong but it sorta is hittin me they had a plan !? Dog owner abuse Pam |

Title: Re: Tails from the script Post by Linda_Howell on May 5th, 2005, 1:49am People breaking into your house. People insisting you buy things you don't want. People scaring you in your own back yard. Now this. Pam, have you considered selling your puppies to a pet store and then moving to the big city where it's safer? ;;D Linda |

Title: Re: Tails from the script Post by Charlie on May 5th, 2005, 5:06am Oh really? Hang on to your money and the next time he calls tell him hard luck. It's a scam. Happened real fast too, didn't it? ::) You dodged a bullet. For god's take care of yourself. You've had more than your share of crap of late. Charlie |

Title: Re: Tails from the script Post by Bethany1 on May 5th, 2005, 7:38am Pam, When I bought my dog from the breeder, she specifically told me that buying a dog would be a financial decision. She drilled us as to what kind of house we had, kids, etc. We had to sign a form that stated the puppy was in good health when we got her, and she gave us a copy of a form from the vet saying the same thing. Maybe that would be something that could help you in the future when selling the dogs to new owners, just as back up, ya know? As for this bum, If they just bought the dog yesterday, I would take the dog back and give them back their money. If they are already acting like this, what will it be next? And what is in store for this little puppy? Thats what would scare me the most. Beth |

Title: Re: Tails from the script Post by BobG on May 5th, 2005, 2:49pm Tell them dogs don't come with warrenties. They are sold "as is". I think they are trying to scam you. Give the name and address to the computer geeks here and I bet they can find some dirty information on these people. |

Title: Re: Tails from the script Post by notseinfeld on May 5th, 2005, 3:01pm If the people had no money then clearly they couldn't afford to feed a dog, take him to the vet, buy heartworm, etc. Why would you have sold them the dog to begin with? |
