ooooh, man - them's FIGHTIN words.  The Flames won the cup in the sixth game anyway.  Every Flames Fan worth their salt knows that.  But the Tampax Tampa forced another game because of a bought-off poor linesman's call.  
That puck was IN.  

and FURTHERMORE, Shark tasted REAL good, and we enjoyed our Wings quite crispy, thankyouverymuch!

ok, I think I better go sit at Mike's oxygen tank for a little while here.  ;)

Well, I am a little disappointed that you are the only one of you Northeners with the guts to make an argument on the subject, wrong as it may be.  :P

I edited it to make it even more powerful.  

Most Canadians are still in serious withdrawal here about hockey, so you probably won't get much response.  But I'll ALWAYS rise in defense, you know that!  :P

and, uh, Thomas - I forget that I should explain my hockey jargon to you Americans.

When I said "Shark tasted good", I was referring to the Flames victory over the San Jose Sharks.  And the wings comment, was about the time we whooped Detroit Red Wings' asses.  Prior to that, we squeaked out a victory against Vancouver Canucks (sorry Broomie - it truly was the best series of the playoffs though, there had to be a winner/lose eventually).  I was responding to your erroneous comment:  "is you wouldn't have to watch your precious flames get their asses stomped THROUGH the ice by every U.S. team they attempted to play."  The ONLY US team that defeated us was those whiners from Tampa Bay.  Florida.  Hockey Country.   ::)

I know I actually rooted for the flames last year in the playoffs, and I did get your references.  But I was referring to what THIS season WOULD have been like for your team.  You know what they say "Even a blind squirel finds an acorn every once in a while".  ;)
