Title: i have been... Post by Donna_D. on Apr 28th, 2005, 10:02pm ...busier than a cat covering it up! For the last three weeks I have been working on a special project at my new job. Of all things I am having to explain to doctors how the new legislation in the Texas House and Senate will affect them in regards to workers' compensation reimbursementblahblahblah blahblahblahblah....its technical after that point. ;) Last Friday I had to give a speech (my first in front of that large of an audience) to 200 doctors and chiropractors. Of course I had to do a little P.R. for OUCH while having casual conversations with the doctors after the meeting with such a golden opportunity at hand. So most of my time has been spent preparing my presentation and diving headfirst into politics here in Texas. Even got offered a job with the State Representatives office, which was a big self esteem boost. All in all...life right now is work, sleep and try to take care of the kids all at the same time. I have also been working diligently on the convention. Things are going quite well... I will post more on the convention this weekend. Oh, did I mention it is April...and I'm getting hit 5-8 times a day? Whoop-de-freaking-do...yay...spring.... ::) Other than that I'm doing well. Sometimes life gets in the way of stuff, but I hope that after tommorow's meeting (a big one for me) I will have part of my life back and I can "come out to play" more often. I miss you all and to those of you who keep calling me and I'm always busy...keep calling!! It makes me slow down and catch my breath...and believe me, I miss every one of you. Know that I am alive and well and doing the best under some really stressful circumstances. I love you all!! DD |
