After starting the season with two dismal performances, the OUCH team finally shook the monkey off it’s back Saturday night at Caraway Speedway in Asheboro, NC.

We sent fast time during qualifying, and finished 4th. An ignition gremlin kept us from posting a high finish, but after two DNF’s to start the season, a strong showing was just what our team needed to get back on track.

Our series takes a few weeks off as local tracks start their season. This time off will give the team a chance to finish the new car and chase down that electrical demon in the old car.

Small and large sponsorship opportunities are available for the remainder of the season.

Cool.......man if I lived down there I'd never miss a race........I love the Carolina's !! Good excuse tomove isn't it.......I'll polish yer car b-4 each race if ya give me a job for incentive Pam ;)

But for those that don't understand race track talk (like me :-/)...what does "We sent fast time during qualifying" and "DNF's mean"?

A DNF is a "Did Not Finish". It means you dropped out for some reason before the race was finished.

Fast time..... Each car entered makes 2 timed laps. This sets the starting line up. We were the fastest of all the cars that were there.

A couple of pics from last weeks event....

Ever wondered what a driver sees while in the car? I took this as the car sat on the track for the autograph session..... You'll note the steering wheel laying to the side. They have a quick release to make it easier for the driver to enter and exit the car.

WAAAAAAAY cool ! Man wouldn't that be cool if a big bunch of chr's & supporters showed up at a race.......we'd all cheer so loud the announcer would be drowned out. Raceing habit Pam
