Title: Red Alert!!!! This is NOT a drill!
Post by Cerberus on Apr 16th, 2005, 12:58am
My daughter (Sami 14) has been missing since at least 11:00 AM yesterday...Police have been notified...I can't really say more since there is too much to tell and not enough time or patience to tell it all...

That is all...
My daughter doesn't love me enough to let me into her life.
Ramon :'( :-/

I'm so sorry Ramon... :(
I'm praying for her safety and quick return home...
Don't doubt your daughter's love, this is just a very difficult age for kids..

Hang in there and keep us posted.. [smiley=hug.gif].

Ramon,

She does love you...very much.  Please don't ever forget that.

I was 14 not all that long ago.  I would have made some very wacked out choices had it not been for some very close people in my life.

She may be mixed up, confused, depressed, scared, and maybe she feels like she can't turn to you right now.  It doesn't mean she doesn't love you or can't trust you.  Sometimes teens have to find their way.

I am praying for all of you, more than you know.

Let me know if there's anything I can do for you guys.

Love,
Lizzie

I hope she gets found quickly and that situations can be resolved peacefully.

Vibes for patience and strength headed your way, bro.  Lord knows with a teenage girl you need them.

Ramon....I'm sure Sami will soon be home well and safe.
It is so hard being a teenager...they feel grown up ...yet they are still our children.
I found it hard to speak to my parents at that age...I loved them..but how could I talk to them..I had no idea of how much pain I put them through..just by not talking.
When she comes back through that door..put your arms round her and tell her you love her..talking can wait awhile.
Hang in there Ramon.

Ramon and Woobie my heart goes out to you both.  Keep the faith please.  Teenagers have so much more to deal with than we ever did at that age, as has been said before, she may feel depressed, scared, and the whole host of things Lizzie said.  Do keep us posted as much as you can.

Lots of love and giant vibes she comes home soon.

I am so sorry to hear this.  I will be praying for your daughter to come home saftely.  I know what it is like I went through this a short while back with my teenage son Joshua dissapearing for a couple of months.  The endless worry and not knowing eats at you.  If you need someone to call or talk to I will PM you my number.

Does she have a cell phone? Can you  trace where calls are comming from?  If she left her cell lphone at home go her phone directory and call all the people in it and just causualy ask if your daughter is there.  That is how I nabed my son and found out where he was staying.  At least I knew he was alive and ok.  Just an idea.

I'm also praying for her safe and quick return.
My oldest daughter had a really rough time during her teen years, and I know how hard it can be on the parents. Hang in there, these rough patches will pass. My prayers are going out for all of you.  ~nani

Title: Re: Red Alert!!!! This is NOT a drill! (Updated)
Post by Cerberus on Apr 16th, 2005, 9:56pm
At approximately 1 pm today, Woobs called me at work and said that they knew where Sami was and she was going there to get her...

Needless to say I vacated my position at work ( with my superior's blessing. ) and went straight home to await their arrival.

Albeit I STILL have no real idea what made her do what she did, ( I know what I was told...but the story is so outlandishly fantastic, that it befowls me) Alas, she is home now, and hopefully a little wiser and a LOT more appreciative of her home.

Thank you all for your support and wisdom, I would have gone insane if I had not had you all to share my pain with...CH aside even.

a HUGE sigh of relief....
Ramon

Sorry to learn this. Here's hoping she's just being a kid. They have no idea how parents worry. Maybe she's just doing the embarrassed at my parents thing. We all had done that in one way or another.

I'm thinking of you.

Yep she beat me too. I had already turned 15 before I knew it all. Unfortuntely I have forgotten most of it. She is at the age where your opinion doesn't mean a whole lot right not. Fortunetely, if they survive, that will change in a couple of years. Glad she is back. Hang in there.

14 is a tough age and there are many mixed up things that go through a kids head.  Dont doubt that she loves you even if she is angry and hurt.  You all are in my thoughts.

Woobie and Ramon.......this must have been horrid for you both! I am glad Sami is back at home, and I am sorry I wasnt around to wring hands with you.
As for now, maybe, with a dose of reality in her, she will be more inclined to lsiten to mom and dad about the challenges in life alone.
I hope she learns from this..and I know, ya wanna kill her, but all ya can do is hug and kiss her........
JUST remember...my 2 are grown-and THEY survived!!!!!!!
Happy for happy endings,
Cathi

Been there with all 3 of my kids. Having problems with the 17 year old as we speak. This is one hell of a generation, they have to contend with things we never could even think of and all that with normal teenage angst, hormones. Most of them come around in their 20's. Hell my oldest even asks for advice he is 23 and hugs and kisses me again. Who is this stranger????We can only pray that when they are out there , they don't get themselves into trouble they can't get out of or survive. The things my kids tell me now makes my hair stand on end.
PS that is why we grow old and die, we had children........... :o

[smiley=huh.gif]Ramon and Woobie... I have been Praying very hard for you guys today... I am so glad that Sami is home and safe..

God can and God will heal the pain that presents itself in your home at this time...  She loves you Ramon, she loves you very much ... you daughter,  like all teen agers just don't agree with us most of the time, and some time they choose the wrong way to express that disagreement..

Glad she is home.  My daughter only turned 8 on Monday and she already acts like she thinks she knows more then Mom and Dad put together.  She gets made cause I wont let her dress like Britney Spears.  Told her that if she did nothave respect for herself then there is no way that anyone else would respect her.   We all do the best we can. Parenthood does no come with a "Parents for Dummies Book."  Try your best and know that even if they dont "listen" they do "hear" what you said.

The other option is getting one of those fencless dog fences and make a necklace for her.  Thay way you know where she is.  ;;D
