I do. Damn Fender Strat wouldn't stay in tune for NOTHIN! Tune it, play a song, tune it, play the next song, tune it, play halfway through the next song if it had lots of bends, stop and tune it, and... etc. etc. ad infinitum. LOL

It was a nightmare. Only problem with Floyds is that one broken string makes the other 5 strings go sharp.

I use very light strings (.008 on the high E) and the heaviest picks I can find.

They go flying some times. I don't do the Townshend thing any more. I've cut up my hand to many times. :o

BTW EEB, I used Dean Markley Blue Steels, they are a little more hardy than most strings.

Okay: But you still had the Floyd-Rose, so it would maintain its tuning.

I used to have a Les Paul black, with tobacco-starburst pattern, and a Fender Twin Reverb amp. I had to hock the whole setup to pay for a MASSIVE phone bill, when I lived in Japan, because Internet access, at the time, was billed by the minute. I came home from hocking that rig, lied on the couch, and bawled like a baby. The thought of that STILL kills me.... :'(
