Title: Re: Parent's love Post by nani on Apr 7th, 2005, 2:45pm That is so nice, sandie. Thanks. As a Mom I can tell you that the most challenging thing about raising girls is that the very things that make a Mom's job harder are the things that will make the daughters phenomonal women. :) |

I don't doubt that at all. It's a hard job to be a mum, I can tell that without being one. But God willing, one day... :) |

Title: Re: Parent's love Post by Kim Y. on Apr 8th, 2005, 10:55am In my thoughts and prayers Ree. My mom is my best friend. I grew up watching that woman struggle to raise my sister and I. Not to mention that she went for her LPN while raising us and now that we are out of the house she is going for her RN. I am proud of her and respect her with all my heart. [smiley=heart.gif] As for my dad who adopted us when I was 13-14 has been the best father a child could ask for. He cared for us more than the father that was there the 1st 12 years. I am blessed with two wonderful parents. |

Title: Re: Parent's love Post by Tiannia on Apr 8th, 2005, 5:09pm I hope that I am a good mom. Dont always feel that way sometimes. But I am doing my best to teach both my kids common sense and care and concern... Each night we say blessing. Thought I would share it with you. Most of you are all familiar withthe traditional "Now I lay me down to sleep.... If I die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take." Well being Wiccan, this did not fit will in our house. So I found one that works wonderfully. Now I lay me down to sleep Please help me learn my world to keep. Protect the air and skys of blue The oceans lakes and rivers too. To guard the mighty forrest lands The plains, the shores and desert sands. Protect all creatures, wild and free In air, on earth or in the Sea. [[[[[[[[Ree]]]]]]]]} You are in my thoughts. -Tia |
