I think it was Taco Bell with the fewest. Something like 10 serious violations for every 100 inspections. MacDonalds came in 20th (out of 20). They had 135 serious health violations in 100 visitations from the Health Department. Who wants their germs SuperSized? |

Next time you go to MacDonald's (and all the others) please notice that when you get your order you'll have 1. a burger wrapped in paper with advertising printed on it. 2. You will get a soft drink in a paper cup with advertising printed on it. 3. You get a plastic straw wrapped in paper. 4. Your fries will be in a paper box with advertising printed on it. 5. It will all be served on a tray lined with a paper placemat with advertising printed on it. After you have eaten you throw away the burger wrapper, the drink cup, the straw and paper it came in, the fries box and the placemat. Next time you go to MacD's you get to buy that stuff again and throw it away again. The packaging/advertising/printing cost more than the food! The fast food industry is not selling food. It is selling packaging for the purpose of throwing it away. Good old American capitalism at it's best. Don't ya just love a good scam? Sure wish I had come up with the idea of selling bottled WATER for $12 a gallon. |
