Title: My new excercize routine
Post by nani on Mar 28th, 2005, 8:56am
My doctor insisted that I get some excersize (nice....coming from a skinny, healthy, 30-something)
So I thought you may want to try it, too. Before starting any new excersize routine check with your doctor.

OK...now scroll back up. That's enough for today. Now go have a donut.

It’s the having to get up to get the donut where the calories burn right???  I get it… ;)

I went to use my tread mill yesterday after a week of non-use, and decided to burn the calories by getting the feather duster and giving it a good dusting… :-[

Sigh, today is another day…or maybe tomorrow…

We moved into this apartment building with a full gym on the roof.  It is part of our rent.  So, it is like a 15 second elevator ride to the 19th floor and there is the gym.  So, I really don't have an excuse right?  In addition, all of the cardio machines are hooked up to cable, and you can watch like 200 channels of TV as you exercise.  Pretty cool.

I still find excuses not to go.  I have to go though.  Got a trip to Hawaii planned for June, and I need to drop a few pounds.  Good thing my wife is disciplined.  She always goes, and nags me to go.  I just always have to find a channel with CSI or something cool.  Maybe MacGyver.

Gas emission will result in a two calory burn unless you tight cheek it -- in that case three.

Enjoy.

Laundry streaks have an added benefit.  Still two calories but you can burn upto 12 additional cleaning up the mess.

I no longer use my treadmill now that I ran out of quarters.  http://www.netsync.net/users/charlies/gifs/treadmill.gif

I have two remotes and now and then I have to change batteries. It always wears me out.

Okay, I guess it is time to work out:

First some stretches

Then some weightlifting
http://smilieville.homestead.com/files/Misc/sprite10.gif

A few miles on the treadmill
http://smilieville.homestead.com/files/Misc/smiley_on_tredmil.gif

some swimming

Whew.  I'm bushed!  Now to Baskin Robbins for ice cream!

Since Easter was just 2 days ago it is still Cadberry season. Maybe melt a Cadberry and spread it on a donut, or 2.
Or 3.
