Title: ALL in the same boat
Post by judkins on Mar 24th, 2005, 10:17am
This might sound stupid.. but whether we use
CALouch
OUCHcanada
OUCHuk
CH.com  & all other sites across the world we all have one thing in common. We are either Supporters or Sufferers, with the former suffering just as much. As with many people I don't know how I would cope without mine. I was alone for the first 4 years of onset and knowing you have someone by your side makes such a difference. I keep thinking of people who have no support and no access to a computor... what on earth do they do?
I don't quite know why I've posted this... had to get it off my chest. [smiley=bag.gif]

judkins, thank you for you post. It seemed like a perfect thread to cross-post this message I just placed on the O.U.C.H. website.

OUCH Members/Cluster Suffers & Supporters:

O.U.C.H. and the Jefferson Headache Center are exploring various collaborative opportunities. One area of mutual benefit to our organizations is the sharing of information.

To that end, the Headache Center will be forwarding a copy of their Cluster Headache Newsletter for dissemination via mass-emailing to O.U.C.H. members. The first Edition of this letter is linked herein and will be forwarded via email to all members in the next few days.

Jefferson is pleased to provide medical professionals for speaking engagements at O.U.C.H. functions in and around the Philadelphia area and the Northeastern quadrant. Speakers for other areas of the country will be considered on an individual basis. They are considering the possibility of providing a physician to address the O.U.C.H. membership at this years’ annual convention in Dallas.

I am pleased to provide the first installment of the Jefferson Headache Center Newsletter (http://www.ouch-us.org/jhc/jhced-1.pdf)

Regards,
Dan Bemowski, President
Organization for Understanding Cluster Headaches

Yep, all in the same boat...I feel a bit like the uncle that no one really knows too much about. I have no support other than y'all coz nobody gets it....but that's OK, coz I got my mushies and they are my local supporters [smiley=laugh.gif]

Might have to dose again soon, been getting lil twinges in my neck, teeth and sinus...but so far relatively PF for 8 days now (since last dose) and 10 days before that(since my first dose)
WOOHOOOO!!! 18 relatively PF days with no meds and two 1 gram doses of mushies [smiley=sayyes.gif]
