Title: A couple snapshots
Post by BikerBob on Mar 15th, 2005, 2:41pm
Springtime  :)

I went for a ride over the Golden Gate Bridge and up the coast.  Here are a couple pics of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge. Some of the buildings in the middle of the picture are 50 stories high...

Nice trip and view.    8)

Beauty of a bike too.  It puts it all in perspective, it's as long as the bridge.

Brings back fond memories.  I spent many weekends in the Bay area in the late 60's and early 70's.  Even went there on the back of a Triumph 650.  Did you take Hw.1 north?  One of my favorite trips was up to Stinson Beach and beyond to Bodega Bay.  Really cool pics, Bob.  Thanks. ;;D

Nice pix Bob.

One is never bored in the bay area. I had a friend in Oakland but spent all my time across the bay in San Francisco......Now here is the place for an OUCH convention. Not cheap in the city though.

Actually, yes... I rode the coast roads (Rte. 1 and 101) from Canada to Mexico.

I also rode 50,000 miles all over the western U.S., western Canada and Alaska. Here are a couple pics of my old bike...

In the Black Hills of South Dakota near Sturgis with a herd of buffalo on the move and no fences...

and in the Canadian Rockies north of Banff, Alberta...

Your Freedom Rally party over July 4th weekend in Ohio sounds like a blast and a half... I wish I could come, but I always go crazy at the Hollister Rally over July 4th weekend...

Hey Bob,

This weekend was so nice that I walked from Fort Point over the bridge, all the way to Sausalito.  I had to take the ferry back - LOL.  This is my favorite time of the year to live in SF...
