OK, the next big chapter begins today. Jen and I are headed to Stanford Medical in about 1 hour to have our one embryo implanted and then all we can do is hope and pray. ANY thoughts, vibes, prayers... anything at all would be appreciated. I know we can beat the odds here, but only with the lot of you pulling for us.

Mercifully, I have had two amazingly easy cluster days in a row, so that's a good sign. Either that or my balls hurt so much I haven't noticed my head. The procedure I went through on Wednesday was not kind to them, and I am patiently waiting for them to, er, recover. Funny how they fail to tell the men exactly how painful that little procedure is. I suspect a lot would chicken out.

Anyway, please think good thoughts. I'll update everyone as soon as we know anything. We take our first pregnancy test in ten days!

BIG NEWS!!!

You all musta had a hand in this... but somehow I knew it would happen. We ended up with TWO embryos to implant, not one. So the possibility of twins is still there. I am thrilled, seriously. This is great news. Both embryos are at 8 cells, which is also a very good sign that they are very healthy. Here's a pic of the two new babies:

Sorry about the pain! It kinda sucks when the surgeon doesn't tell you exactly HOW bad the surgery is going to be until its done!!! (That's how I'm thinking as I'm still laying on the couch bleeding my nose out 4 days after I had surgery! hehe)

Talk about baby pictures to show the kids when they get older. You just don't get pictures of kids much younger than that! :D
