This did not break my heart. It just made me miss my bros. and hug my pigs. Semper Fi to all my bros over there and wish I was with you all. And to everyone who has family over there, my prayers are with each and everyone of you in hopes that they are safe.

Brought tears to my eyes and made me wish I could be there with them. I sometimes regret getting out. Some of the best times of my life were in the military. I was a squad leader for a combat mobility team. I had people that would have followed me through the pits of hell. Sometimes I can't help but feel I have abandoned them or let them down. I check the lists of casualties for their names and pray I don't find them. So far I haven't.
