Title: Puter geeks, please help!!!
Post by K-9 on Mar 8th, 2005, 1:34am
This is a long shot, but I was wondering, if an e-mail account is set up, then deleted, can a geographical location still be determined on it?  Any help is appreciated.

Thanks guys!!

Chuck

I don't know for sure... but if you had an email from it, it would have the ip address or path listed and you could trace the location from that.
I hope that helps

Like she said.  You can get the IP address and routing info from the header, assuming the IP address wasn't spoofed.
