Title: Curiosity got the better of me Post by Gator on Mar 6th, 2005, 12:43am I've been hearing for a year now how chronics, at least most chronics apparently, can drink alcoholic beverages without fear of reprisals from the beast. Well, after over a year of not tempting fate, I put that theory to the test tonight. I had four glasses of Berringer White Zinfandel without so much as a shadow. I gotta say...IT WAS GOOD!!! |

Though I haven't tested this thoroughly, I seem to get hit about an hour after one beer, but if I keep drinking--5 or 6--I don't get hit. I've heard of similar experiences with others also. Anyone else? |

Beer and red wine trigger a lot of head pain....of all varieties, so I stay away from them. I'm a fan of the white wines or the hard liquour cabinet ;-) (Bring on the jungle juice.....and for the generation who has no clue what "jungle juice" and "beer pong" are...jungle juice is Rum, Vodka, and Red Fruit Punch of some variety!) -From the Angel who went to one of the top party schools in the nation: PENN STATE! :) |
