Post by Langa on Mar 3rd, 2005, 2:47pm So I’ve been getting picked on because of my handle L A N G A… :-/ But I ain't gonna suffer this alone...what's with: ::) ghost62, karma, peppermint, rextangle, racer1_nc, Alien Space Babe, purpleydog, cootie, woobie, chillrman1, pigeon, jkrs2, hzzz, echo, nani…these are the only ones I can think of right now. All cool names, but why these? We couldn’t pick simple names or our own names like Jonny, Don, Jayne, Gena, Clarence, etc…we gotta come up with some VERY unique stuff…LOL! Some are pretty self-explanatory like ExplodingEyeBall – good name by the way. Or others have exotic names like Tiannia… My personal fave though is BMONEETHEMONEEMAN (I don’t even think I got most of these names down right)… So what’s the story behind our handles? These boats will make the mightiest seaman seasick [smiley=hurl.gif] but there tough. Put in freezer plates instead of ice machines for the reefer space. They now carry general cargo between the islands in the North Eastern Caribbean. You name it we've carried it. Everything from live goats ( sorry Hap) to dead bodies. I had a 78' Alabama Shipper as well that I just farmed out. I could no longer keep it compliant. Thanks to Our Friend Bin Laden its getting real hard to keep up with all the regs. So I changed my name to CarrieBethRN, but that just wasn't the same...so I went back to Lizzie2 and that's where I'm staying! Carrie really is my first name, but Elizabeth is my middle name. My dad has always called me by some form of "Elizabeth" my entire life. I love that name. So that's why I use that name!
