Thank you so very much for the birthday wishes.

I spent the day doing what I love the most....bass fishing.   Today was my first tournament for this year.
Friday was a gorgeous day here in Texas.  Temp was about 70, lots of sunshine, no wind to speak of.

Saturday a.m. when I headed for the lake at 3:30, the air temp was about 43.  Bout the time I got the boat in the water, it was still 43.....wind was whoopin', and then the rain moved in.

Weather wise it was a fisherman's nightmare.   Forty two of us fought the wind, cold and rain for 9 hours.  I didn't win the tournament, nor did I have the big bass of the day, but I graciously braved the cold and the rain.

Twas a great day for me.....in spite of the weather.   You just can't beat a day on the lake.

Happy Birthday to you, Nots....I hope you had a great day, sweetie.

Thanks again to you all for the nice thoughts and b'day wishes.

Very Sweet of You Gang, thanks a bunch.

I slept 'til 4:30 this afternoon, showered, dressed, and went dancing 'til now 2:00 am.  Not quite as serene as the lake but quite enjoyable all the same.

Hey txbasslady--did you see the little cake icon in your message folder here?
