Title: Um.... Not that I'm complaining, mind you... Post by Frank_W on Feb 23rd, 2005, 11:33am For the eight years that I've been fighting the beastie, my cycle has hit every autumn. Then, the autumn before last, I skipped, only to get nailed last February. I didn't get hit last autumn, so I assumed I would get hit this month. So far... NOTHING! So now I'm wondering what the hell's going on, and whether or not I'm going to end up getting hit at some different, odd time of the year again. It's like living with an anvil hanging overhead. [smiley=huh.gif] Tentatively hopeful.... -Frank |

Title: Re: Um.... Not that I'm complaining, mind you... Post by Hirvimaki on Feb 23rd, 2005, 11:37am Frank, I'm going through the same thing. And I know others are as well. Freaky, out-of-whack cycles. Maybe it means the mothership will land soon... Hirvimaki-Isi |

Make that your new mantra. So many folks have had odd cycles and changes in their cycles this year. [smiley=huh.gif] I don't understand... |

Title: Re: Um.... Not that I'm complaining, mind you... Post by seasonalboomer on Feb 23rd, 2005, 1:25pm That's freaky. I had the same thing last Fall. I try to run a marathon every Fall, and it's often dicey because a cluster attack can mess with the training. I'm a Fall (always), then Feb/Mar (almost always), cycle person. Fall 2003 I got nailed terrible, once while running the Chicago Marathon for 18 miles as well as a doozy on a transatlantic flight to Germany -- talk about getting strange looks from other passengers. Feb 2004 -- Yup, moderate cycle. Committed to the marathon for Sept 2004, and, nothing comes for whole cycle period. Yahoo, what a great Fall. But here we are in Feb. and they're back. I'll vote for sunspots, cosmic rays, electromagnetic radiaiton, but it is freaky when it is more than just you with the freaky cycles. What a wild graph it would be if we were all hooked up to a big clust-ometer that showed all of us triggering and cycling. |

But, then again, if we did know.....I probably wouldn't know YOU............hmmm......some trade off huh!! Well worth it I say......just remind me of it when I get hit again ok?? hugs friend, EDNA |
