What is your favorite instant message client? Yahoo? MSN? The message board?

What do you use, and like the best?

I like Yahoo and msn, although I use Skype and Jabber. Of course, there's always the good ole IRC. ;)

Prefer not to use the message board, but I suppose if you didn't have a client installed, it would do in a pinch. ;)

I use Gaim (http://gaim.sourceforge.net/) for my MSN, Yahoo, AIM, and Jabber accounts, and skype for VOIP, that is when I get a head set.

Yes IM clients are much faster to Chat with than using this board, but I guess for those who can't figure out how use a chat client....

I use AIM the most because that's what all my friends from high school and college use. Also, all my family is on there. I recently switched back to using the straight AIM client because I missed having a buddy icon and creating a profile...plus using pretty fonts and colors. I know...I'm cheesy!

I also sometimes use GAIM with my old AIM nickname every once in awhile.

I currently use Trillian for MSN and Yahoo. I had my AIM on there until just last week. That was nice because I could use all 3 clients by only opening one messenger program. I got tired of having MSN, Yahoo, and AIM all open separately and running on my computer! I like Trillian because of the sound effects!! Like...you type "LOL" and it laughs like a little kid. That's fun! And it has a lot of cool smilies. :) However, unless you are chatting with someone else using Trillian...they don't get the benefit of any of that! Just you!

I spend way way way too much time playing with instant messenger! :)

MSN messenger... All my buddies have that. I actually taught my mum to use it. 8)

I like msn and yahoo and I used to use ICQ alot but I don't have it on this laptop yet.. must install it though as there are some friends I haven't spoken to since puss was a kitten and they oly have ICQ!

I use trillion........
It's a system that encorporates all services into one client......
This way you do not have to run yahoo, AIM, ICQ, MSN or whatever at the same time......it recognizes all.

I use trillion too - i love it.
signed into msn yahoo and aim all at once.

using everything beside AIM.Have to say tough that i prefer Skype.Using it a lot here to actually TALK to a clusterheads that are down is so much easyer then chatting,and believe me its working to

To find something on the web go to Google (http://www.google.com/) and type in what you want.

Trillian (http://www.ceruleanstudios.com/) is good but it doesn't support Jabber and it is Microsoft Windows only.

Gaim (http://gaim.sourceforge.net/) runs on Linux, BSD, OS X, and even MS Windows, has support for a number of IM services, but it doesn't have the cute sounds that Trillian has.

Trillian looks kinda cool, will have to research it more though.

Well I went and got the trillian whojimmyflip and its brilliant! Its really easy to do ( I did it!) and its just bloody hilarious! GO and get it and talk to me please!!

Actually, with Trillian you can customize your emoticons (smileys) to be as perverted as you want them to be... You get the best of all the IM worlds...

NONE of these so called IM programs are worth the time it takes to install them. The only real IM/chat program, PowWow (http://www.kstrom.net/isk/john.html), was made buy the injuns at tribal.com (http://www.kstrom.net/isk/john.html), back in `96 or so............but once again, the White Man decided the only good injun was a dead injun.
No sooner did Tribal die, and BobaWorld (http://www.netside.net/boba/webmasters.html) went under.
