Goals?? Dreams??? I'm not sure if I've never had any or have just achieved them all.  :-/

I'm happy, I guess...and an underachiever... ::)

My Wingate Pharm student asked me about goals last week. Did I have any in regard to CH? Umm...lifelong remission and a cure come to mind.

Lots of them.... most too personal to share, even for word-vomit-woman....

here are some of the less personal ones:
build a snowman
take a walk in the snow with someone special
have an impromptu snowball "fight"
learn french
vacation in England

short term - anyone who knows me KNOWS what that is - make it through this week.

long term - learn to snow ski, learn to in-line skate, become more computer literate, make sure my son becomes a great man and that he is happy in whatever he does, find someone who will love me for me and not try to take me away again.

A dream is something you sit around and ponder for an eternity.

A goal is something you get up and work toward every day of your life.

Pretty lofty. You should start with the basics. How about:

"I will get through the whole day without over flowing my drool cup"

Title: Re: Goals or Dreams
Post by sandie99 on Feb 21st, 2005, 11:21am
The problem I have with my dreams is that I am basicly (CH aside) HAPPY RIGHT NOW.

It's a good place to be, but slight unhappiness makes one reach for dreams and goals harder.

It won't kill me if I don't ever get to travel to New York, Seychelles, Maledives nor China. I won't turn suddenly unhappy if I don't ever own a LV bag. But they, just like a good job, Mr Right and MA degree would add happiness into my life.

Honestly, biggest regrets I'd have if I will never finish a novel. I have been dreaming, planning and writing since I can remember. Right now I write just to myself, but we'll see. But I can promise you that if I ever finish one of my million novel starts and get published, you'll be the first to know! ;;D

:)I WISH ALL YOUR DREAMS & GOALS WILL TURN INTO REALITY! :)

We all have deserved it.

Besides....... it would be a lot easier to quit drooling, if you would quit sending pix of you and Lance at the bath house together.  ;;D
