I'm sitting on the couch with a fleece blanket and my laptop balanced precariously on my knee. (It's a funny picture if anyone saw!!) Because today was my first day off after 16 days straight, I did not get up until 12:30 and I haven't even taken a shower today. I have half a box of thin mints and a Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper sitting on the table next to me. And I'm watching "Backdraft" on Bravo...which has to be about the 5th movie I've seen today. I'm living the high life, that's for sure! Lil Sis :) |

I am drinking jack and diet coke. I am about to pop in the movie "What Dreams May Come", I look forward to watching it. My mouse light is flashing, meaning the battery is about to die so I will put it in its cradle and just watch the movie soon. Uppp, my mouse just stopped flashing, meaning it's dead. My god, where does beautiful music like this come from!!! Other than that, I'm cursing the BoogerMan for my sinus infection and spending lots of time with the SandMan. Came home and celebrated a late Valentine's with my sister and lil niece. Watched the niece eat her chocolates then turn into a 4 year old energizer bunny for 2 hours. Waited and waited for the bunny to run out of energy and when she crashed I put her in her car seat and sent her home. Sitting here now watching the tube and grateful the 4 year old is sound asleep now at her house... [smiley=laugh.gif] |

Stuffed (damn, they're fine), tired and soon to join my already passed out wife. |

My 3 year old grandson is staying with us tonight (his parents wanted to PLAY this weekend) and he's not feeling real good (had diahrreah all day). Got him to sleep early, but just when I thought I could get some rest, got visited my Mr. Demon, so I'm up for a while. But I did have some excitement yesterday.... My phone in Shreveport went out two weeks ago (limb from storm fell on it). Called the phone company and had it set up for them to fix it on a Monday (two weeks ago). Went back to Texas for two weeks. Got here Friday night and NO PHONE. Yesterday I had a chat with AT&T (it got loud) on my cell phone. Seems it was a mistake on their part. The idiot who took the order forget to give it to service. So they were sorry and would have it fixed by Tuesday since it was a holiday weekend. LSS - when I got thru, not only is my bill being adjusted, but the phone line was fixed within two hours - holiday weekend be damned. I felt better after the call - but don't think they did. Such excitement. Oh well, guess we have to "make" our fun. Hugs BD |
