Nani, I take no pleasure in the death of innocent ones. I have a problem with a society that would raise their young to believe that persons of another race should be exterminated, or that their country has no right to exist.. Check out this website…

You are projecting your values on people who do not share them. These are people who have been taught from day 1 that anyone not of their religious beliefs has to convert or die. They have little regard for human life, even their own. The highest honor they can hope to achieve is to die trying to kill you.

I take no pleasure in the death of another, but in this case it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Had he lived, he may have been the next one to pilot an airplane into a building full of innocent people or walked into a school with a bomb strapped around his waist.

Pray for peace always, but don't close your eyes on an enemy who would just as soon kill you as look at you.

Not going to get into religious views or politics......

The only thing I can tell you is that I have had family and friends that have lost there lives to suicide bombers in Israel.....Going to WORK, Dancing in a club, Having a damn cup of coffee!

Their martyrs are pathetic, insane fools. Our martyrs are brave, courageous people who will sacrifice life itself for their country. Their families who send young people to the war and death surrounding them should be criticized and penalized; our families who send their children to war and death half-way around ther world should be consoled, praised and rewarded. We salute the courage of those who stand up to the tanks of our enemies in Prague or Tiananmen Square. We ridicule idiots who stand up to tanks in Iraq or Gaza. They blow up the enemy and innocent people with bombs in cars or back-packs. We blow up the enemy and innocent people with bombs dropped from airplanes and missiles fire from helicopters. We were for labor unions when they were in communist countries fighting for the freedom and dignity of workers there, and against them when they represent workers in our own countries.

It all sucks, if you ask me.

When I was at Penn State, I had a teacher from Lithuania I think it was. He extremely insensitive when we had 9/11, and we all absolutely hated him. You are damned right they are. There is no way to draw an equivelent comparison between those that fight so others may be free and those that would fight to keep people in the chains of extreme religious fanaticism. Even under the threat of death, Iraqis went out and participated in the establishment of their own freedom and thumbed their nose at the people you seem to praise.

We don't send our children into a busy restaurant or a crosstown bus or a police station to kill indescriminantly.

I suppose it depends on why they are standing up. Freedom versus continued fanatical religious oppression.

They blow up the enemy and innocent people with bombs in cars or back-packs. We blow up the enemy and innocent people with bombs dropped from airplanes and missiles fire from helicopters.

They intentionally kill women, children and even their own people in the hopes of taking out as many people as possible. They are not even targeting the "enemy" in a lot of cases. They are targeting their own citizens in the hopes that they will scare them back into the fanatical fold of oppression. We make every effort not to kill innocent people. We know the enemy is hiding themselves and weapons in mosques and hospitals, but we do not bomb those places - even though it puts our own soldiers at risk.

We were for labor unions when they were in communist countries fighting for the freedom and dignity of workers there, and against them when they represent workers in our own countries.

I don't know where labor unions come into this equation. I don't think we've dropped bomb one on a labor union. Labor unions served a very real and valid purpose in the beginning. They did and still do a lot of good for their members today. It does seems that some, not all, have gotten a bit out of hand.
