My friends must think I’m bored, because they paid for me to go take some Tango lessons…WTF?  They also said the instructors were "all that"  :-[

Anyway, so I called the dance studio to speak to the instructor and see what this whole thing entailed.   This is how our phone conversation went:

Inst. Picks up, introduces himself.

Me:  Hi, I have a gift certificate my friends gave me for Tango lessons.  I’ve never taken Tango lessons, so can you tell me more about it.  Also, what do I wear, leotard, what?

Inst.:  Sure.  We have dance outfits you can buy here.  I recommend for Tango lessons a body blouse with short skirt, leg tights...we also have the shoes.

Me:  Okay.  I'll check out the clothing once I'm there.  Also, how long are the classes?

Inst.:  Classes are 1 hour, twice a week.  Tuesdays, Fridays 7-8 pm.  The program lasts 2 months.  

Me:  That works for me.

Inst.:  Great.  First thing, do you dance?

Me:  Well, in clubs all the time, and years ago I took some ballroom dancing classes.

Inst.:  Great!  Do you think you’re a natural dancer.

Me:  I’m Spanish, you tell me?

Inst:  Laughs.  Well, Ms. ???  

Me:  Call me Maria.

Inst:  Maria…it’s also important for me to know if you mind being touched on the dance floor?

Me:  Uh, touched?  Sure, in what way though?   ::)

Inst:  Well, let me explain to you about Tango.

Me:  Okay

Inst.: Tango is making love on the dance floor, passionate lovemaking...it's a dance of passionate love.

Me:  Right.  :o

Inst.: So my hands and body will be all over you.

Me:  Do you have an opening for tomorrow night???  ;;D


I’m sure I’ll bust my a$$ in the process of learning how to dance Tango, but it sure sounds like it will be fun learning!!!

  Come on up to the hills,    I will teach ya how to ride a motorcycle, noodle for turtles, strut your stuff in the hick-towns, and even kyak.    If ya like all that, I may even shake your hand.  
   I may even let ya drive my truck.    
           Wont cost ya a dime.

i've always wanted to learn how to ride a motorcycle...I have no idea what noodling for turtles is??   :-/

The truck is a truck.  Beat it, abuse it.  Everyone knows a truck is ment as a tool.  Just wash it out before ya bring it home.   Its not a pretty truck, but it will work well.   Its kind of a bummer when the truck crosses a creek----all that water running across the floor,  but a dozen quarters at the wash takes care of the mud.

I'm not sure if I can handle mud and water dancing around my feet in a truck John...i'm a city girl remember?  How about I just ride with you on the bike...?  :-/

Incorrect. It was washed. It's no longer sweat stained. It doesn't fit any better, tho. It's still the same color. It doesn't fart, belch or scratch, either. Alas.

Okay, sigh...I finally get it...YOU got offended at my being disgusted with farts, belches and tugging...I just don't think it's nice, is all...I still love ya. I mean, you wouldn't like it if I did those things around you right...?  :P

And can we please move on to another subject besides farts, belches, and ball tugging...I know, I know...I bought it up, but I was just venting...now I'm having nightmares!  LOL...

Pick another subject, ear wax, navel lint, anything but the above... [smiley=laugh.gif]

BTW, glad about the hat...it was on it's way out dude... :P
