Fellow OUCH member and friends,
It is with a heavy heart that I must resign my position as OUCH President effective February 6th 2005.

Due to my new position in my career I simply do not have enough hours in the day to fulfill the responsibilities assigned to me. Even more difficult is the responsibilities I assign to myself. There are many tasks needing to be done and I am under great stress to complete those tasks and I am just no able to do so.

My normal day starts at 6:00am and if I get to bed by Midnight I have done well. That leaves very little time to do what I consider a very important job. OUCH is very important to me and I just cannot go on as a liability.

I am quite proud of what we have done in my short tenure. We have weathered some rough times and come out a better organization because of it. We have some really great people in the service structure and I am excited about the future of OUCH. Great things are on the horizon.

Please join me in welcoming Dan Bemoski as you new OUCH President. Dan and I are of a like mind in the direction of OUCH and he is an incredible asset to the organization.

I will do everything I can to ease the transition but to be honest Dan is on the ball so there is really very little to do. I will continue to be involved as much as possible with OUCH but the position of President is much too important for the time I have available.

I want to thank all who served with me, you people are just fantastic and it has been a great honor to serve with you.

Like ole Clint said, "A man's got to know his limitations." You are wise enough and honest enough with yourself to know yours. You also have to care about something a great deal to let it go and pass it along to the next person. Thanks for your loving service.
