Title: MS IM WORM
Post by Kirk on Feb 4th, 2005, 12:33pm
For those of you who use Microsoft's Instant Messenger. There is a new/old worm going around. Those who use Alvero's AMSN client for MS messenger don't appear to be affected.
There is a short article over at The Register on it.

This worm also has an anti-debugging technique. That is, it will not run if any of the following debugging applications are currently running on the affected system:

   * NT-ice
   * Softice

Sounds like the writer is trying to keep his fellow crackers from getting his worm.
