Title: Your Dream Car Post by Langa on Feb 4th, 2005, 9:35am Yesterday after work I went to local car dealerships looking for a newer car as I want to trade my '97 Jeep. Believe it or not I've always loved the look of the Chrysler PT Cruiser - probably because I love the '30's cars and will go to a car show if old cars are being displayed...Well, my friend who was with me started laughing at me and thought I was crazy when I took it for a test drive. (Did I just hear snickering on the board here...? :-/) Well, I might just buy it... ;;D I suppose if I had a lot of money, I'd buy a Corvette, Cherry Red - MY DREAM CAR -but that's not going to happen. What's your dream car? Langa |

Title: Re: Your Dream Car Post by Biker on Feb 4th, 2005, 3:49pm I have had "dream cars" I have decided "after they are of no real use" that I have decided to build myself a long ( one ton dodge) van with a 318 and auto and 4wd. I trashed the Nova (first wife) and trashed the MGB (also first wife). The jeep is ruint (second wife) and the truck wont go (second wife). My dream cars sucked for awhile, then they got crashed. I have some decient custom bikes (I built them) but can only ride one at a time. No wives unless they ride behind----or they bring their own. I miss being "hitched" to a gal, but dayumm, they have a tendency to ruin my buggies. I suppose living in the mountains keeps most femails from understanding the potholes and ditches are pretty deep. And the mud, and ice, cannot help much either. Do ya know how bitchie a gal can become if ya dont let her drive your buggy?????? Its right intollorable. Nag, nag, nag. I wanna go here. I wanna go there. Im tired of sittin up here on this farm. I wanna go meet people. Nag nag nag. So, I let them take the buggy and get that awful call----"I wrecked the car." Its no wonder I drive old beaters, and when I go visit, the first thing folks do is look down upon me cause I pull up with a beater. So, I have taken advantage with that, and my beaters look poor on the outside, but inside---them engines produce as much horses as mechanically possible. I have learned its better to let the clutches slip, and the auto tranneys to be restricted, than it is to allow a female to operate it at its full advangage. Clutches are cheap, and easy to change. Auto Tranneys are easy to make slip. Fuel cost alot, but not as much as a different buggy. I also learned how to alter the fuel guage so when the return the buggy on empty, it really has 1/2 a tank. Most females are vehicle abusers. Dream car?????? Now thats funny. My dream car is a 1964 Ford Falcon- rag top. 490 small block engine- posi-track rear end. 4 speed clutch driven machine. Bright red. I like them pre-smog buggys that can get out the way. I always have, and probally always will, like my horses under my foot. The old Dodge Super "B" comes to mind. Also the "Challenger". Dayumm. I loved all my women. All those women, not enough cars. Its no wonder Im poor |
