Title: Neither Rain, nor sleet, nor gloom of night....
Post by Donna_D. on Feb 1st, 2005, 7:58pm
...could stop me from FINALLY getting everything moved into the new apartment!!  The funny part is that I really DID move stuff in the rain, the sleet and into the wee hours of the morning all of this weekend and today....and I am TIRED!

But it is ALL WORTH IT!!  WE ARE FINALLY HERE!!!

My kids are safe.  That to me is the most important thing on the face of this earth.  The ex has NO CLUE where I live!!!  YIPPPEEEEEEE!!!  And, the new neighbors all seem to be very nice (at least no one has offered to sell me any crack-cocaine as of yet  :-/ ) Tonight will be our first night in the new apartment as a family.

Anyways, now it is time to unpack all of these boxes and begin the process of making this place a HOME.

...I will let you all know how it is going, but right now I think Jessica has taped her brother in a box....hmmmmm at least he isnt getting into trouble!

;;D

Whoo hoo!!! Enjoy your new home, Donna. You deserve a little peace. So, tape both the kids into seperate boxes. Tell 'em you're playing Post Office.  ;;D

Yay !!!

I love the stage of moving where you unpack and start over.

Love to come help you, but I can't get home before Air Cadets start so I won't be much good for you.

Keep two large boxes and the tape for when you need some "me" time. ;)

Good luck [smiley=thumb.gif]

Congratulations! I'm so pleased for you.. but isn't it HARD WORK moving with small kids?!!! Nani's suggestion is one I wish I'd had a few years ago!
