While working construction in Chicago, I once was flagging traffic and had to stop cars on Franklin street down town. As I was standing there waiting for the signal to let them go, I realized I was looking right at Mr.T. When he relized I recognized him, he hung his head out of the car and talked to me for a couple of minutes. Nice guy. |

Title: Re: MacGyver Post by Charlie on Jan 31st, 2005, 3:50pm I haven't seen much of McGyver. I suppose now that he's on cable, I'll have to tune in. I'm just catching up on the Nero Wolfe series. It's great. My favorite is Monk though. I love this thing. Do you see a pattern here? They are full of dialog rather than action; like old movies. http://www.netsync.net/users/charlies/gifs/meter.gif Charlie |

Title: Re: MacGyver Post by PrettyH8Machine on Jan 31st, 2005, 8:45pm I must disagree on the sci/fi thing... (I can't believe I am about to say this...) The new "Battlestar Galactica" is too fucking cool! Blows away the ultra-cheesy 70's original, and Starbuck as a woman... she is one tough bitch! http://www.nixflix.com/battlestar/photos/bio_starbuck.jpg (She'd be one hell of a dominatrix) ;;D My new show is "Medium" with Patricia Arquette. That show ROCKS! Peace, CD |

Title: Re: MacGyver Post by clarence on Jan 31st, 2005, 8:57pm 24 is on in 5 minutes. Great show. Haven't seen Battlestar Galactica. I saw Medium, but it conflicts with either 24 or Alias or something. Speaking of, what about Alias. Anyone like Jenifer Garner? Casey |

Title: Re: MacGyver Post by Charlie on Feb 1st, 2005, 4:31am I was as big a SF fan as anyone here, I bet. I was into hard SF, not sci-fi. (real fans know what that means) I'm probably the only one in the world that doesn't watch the new series on Sci-Fi. I can't get into it. Too bad probably. I like some of the silly older stuff though. Time travel is a favorite. I liked the movie: Time and Again with Christopher Reeve....a chick film as they say.... 8) Charlie |

Title: Re: MacGyver Post by Rock_Lobster on Feb 1st, 2005, 7:50am The new Galactica mini-series indeed rocked. It is best on DVD, without interruptions. Have yet to see the new Galactica series. Agreed Hirv... SG-1 is consistently good. |
