Jackie, when I logged on, Annette was logged on, but I guess she said nothing. perhaps she was pm ing someone.
Was hoping for some good news myself......
Dave and Annette, we are still sending vibes, saying prayers...touch bases when you can, please.

Had a PM from Annette a couple days ago. Dave is still doing the same as before. :( Not good news I know, but better than worse news.

Going through my PM's there is something I forgot to add in my haste to leave the house when I posted. Dave's mother had gone in for surgery the week before the 27th and is in ICU and failing fast. Dave and Annette have to draw a line at times between their concern for her and Dave's ability to exert/exhaust his own strength to be there with her.

Please keep them all in your prayers, thoughts...

Dave and Annette are constantly in my thoughts and prayers. It has been awhile since I have spoken to Annette. What they are going through is unimaginable to most of us.

Lighting a candle and saying another prayer.

Hi all! Thanks for your concern. Things have not changed for Dave, he is still hangin in, on, and sometimes wishing he could just hang it up, but I won't let him do that. No answers from the medical community either, so nothing to do but grit the teeth, hold on for dear life, and hope the ride somehow comes to an end.
Dave's mom is still in critical condition, so we have been wheeling around the SICU since the 20th. Dave is too sick to go today, and is running a slight fever so we won't risk carrying something in to her.
I read the board every single day at least once, I just don't have much to say these days. Dave rarely is able to sit at the computer anymore, and if he could, his eyes have gotten so bad he can't see to read it, let alone muster the energy to type. He can no longer drive, and it takes all he's got to leave the house unless absolutely necessary, so his life pretty much consists of sheer boredom and listening to me try to push him to keep trying. Somehow, I can still manage to get an occasional smile out of him though. I'll let him know you all were asking about him.

You are both constantly in my thoughts and prayers. I have wanted to call Dave many times but I know he is exhausted and that trying to have a conversation is tiring for him.

Jack, from the Burg......this mutha was here everyday for over a year.....I never did get his number, anyone got it?
