hi guys just need to vent ... at work and just coming down from a badd ch 25 min of fun ... dont know whats worse at work or while asleep. i get both almost always a wreck but need to just keep going if poss.

Sorry to hear you got hit at work. They hurt just as bad no matter where you're at. The ones at work suck alot more though. Glad to hear you got through it fairly quick.

me too. having someont to talk to helps too my wife just says "what are you so mad about " and then says i dont know what pain really is. then she is mad at me for days

Don't know what pain is?

Not sure I could hear that during an attack without trashing something or someone.

Sorry to hear your getting hit. Like Jonny said, run for the restroom or arrange to have a private place you can go. Do you have any kind of abortive you can use at work? Some people have a room where they can store an O2 bottle and go there during an attack.

I am even sorrier to hear your wife is so uncaring about your situation. It makes it that much harder to cope when you got no support at home. A lot of women think that they have experienced to worst of pains because they have given birth and that somehow gives them the right to look down on others' pain, especially men's pain. The truth is, most of the women here who have ch and have delivered a baby would much rather go through childbirth again. Have you tried to get her on here and see what this disorder is all about?

Oh man... I am so sorry... Even worse is the fact that your wife doesn't understand, and then gets mad at you on top of it. As if the pain wasn't bad enough... Is there any chance you can get her to come over here and read the few paragraphs on the intro page?

Anyway, I wholeheartedly second Jonny's advice: When you get hit, run to a restroom or out to your car, or an empty conference room; whatever.

Hang in there. I dearly hope you find some relief...

unfortunatly no place at work ... boss knows and does care but cant accomidate hr says doesnt recognize it as a problem ...(just a headache to them) ... but boss does let me go out if i need to so she not to bad. wife on other hand :-X

That's just unfuckingbelievable. HR doesn't recognize it as a problem? Print this out for HR AND your wife:

Know about the work thing, I hide when I can, sometimes carry the 02 in the office, they don't quite understand a cluster but have trained them to leave me the fuck alone (they got to see a real bad one, scared the sh%% outta them). Sorry about the wife, thats hard to deal with I bet.
