Title: The Winter Witch Post by Jeepgun on Jan 26th, 2005, 8:56am The Winter Witch Her eyes, like vacuums, drew me down, down, down Dark wells with no bottom, pulling me in, draining me. Her smile: A vacant wasteland; bordering on the obscene. Still, I surrendered; no question of choice. I can remember that night. The moon, pale, cold and bloated, Watched as I lay with her. My mind; numb and drained. Her ribs stood out sharply, and the deep voids beneath her Cheekbones: Gaunt, emaciated, but with power Stronger than iron. Her flesh, like ice, chilling me, and chilblain Devouring my will. Still, her smile! Those eyes! And I fell down, down, down... Her tree-branch arms and spindly legs around me and her Nails raking my back in her passion, leaving scars on my spirit That I still feel when the December winds whine across the Dark, snowy mountains. The morning: She is gone; evaporated during the night- Blizzard outside my window. I wait for her in this remote cabin, and sometimes, the Whitest wolves, or the blackest ravens bring me news of her. I know she will return, and I wait, while the wind-banshees howl, And the snowflakes dance, falling one by one to Earth In the early darkness. -Frank H. Weeden |

Title: Re: The Winter Witch Post by Jeepgun on Jan 26th, 2005, 11:04am It's about an anorexia patient that I used to know. She and I were never uh... "involved," but she had this amazing charisma about her. She insisted that she was a vegetarian, but the truth of her weight and the way she looked said otherwise. She was a skeleton with skin... To the point of being grotesque. She had the most ghastly smile, and her eyes were always fever-bright. When she smiled, it was like a grinning skull... And yet, she seemed to have this curious power over everyone. I will never forget her... She died about 18 months after the first time she came for treatment, insisting that nothing was wrong with her, and that she was just fine, and had never felt better. :'( So... I began thinking of her and images began surfacing... This is what came of it. :-/ |
