I just found out I am getting my first office with an actual window. Simple pleasure, I know. But a greatly appreciated simple pleasure in the drab-walled world of corporate cube farms. Too cool. 8)

Congratulations on graduating to the outer row of the cube farm. Always nice to be able to see what's going on outside. One less neighbor is nice as well.

Congrats John! It's the simple things in life that make us happy!

I can get some girls together and go and make some pretty curtains for your window and hang them up...Nani, Beth, Wendy, Helen and I can go and decorate your new office with pretty things...you know, to make it homey? :D

I saw a fabric with some really pretty butterflies on it- John won't mind, besides it has a lil blue in it...and I have awesome coasters with different types of flowers on them...it be great...

I was just reading that post again! I bet we all have stories like that...women, I mean...! But yes, I think anything sparkly might look lovely. I saw a ladybug shaped rug with sparkles that would look lovely towards the entrance of the office? :D

Hay thats awesome, office with a window! Ya know I have to admit, I felt the same when I graduated from cubicle to office w/a window. I was just soooo excited!

Now------ I keep the blinds shut everyday because of the glare of the sun on the computer screen, Its so gosh darn cold because the windows suck, and there is a constant breeze, and it doesnt open all the way so I can't throw myself out the 6 stories.

I love my windows.... not floor to ceiling like the old building, but windows nonetheless......

Wow! An office with a window! How cool is that? My cube is 2,500 square feet and has only 2 desks. And they're both mine. But, I don't have a window, just brick walls. :(
Sometimes I wish I had a window so I could jump out it. But then, I'm at ground level so I couldn't even hurt myself enough to get employee comp.

Sometimes it sucks to be me. :'(

yep, actually I have an office now, but we are moving to a building where there are more offices with windows andd we have more lab space also, hard to explain but that will make life much easier. :)
