I was so excited to see once again who is nominated!

Here are my faves:

Actor in leading role: Leonardo DiCaprio
Actress in leading role: Annette Bening
Actor in supporting role: Thomas Haden Church
Actress in supporting role: Laura Linney
Director: Martin Scorsese
Picture: Sideways

I was a little shocked that Paul Giamatti didn't get nominated for "Sideways".....Haven't seen "Ray" yet but everybody out here thinks Jamie Foxx is pretty much a sure thing for his performance.

Just saw "Sideways" this weekend, I thought it was great, loved it. It does seems people either love it or hate it.

I was hoping a nomination for Paul, too... :(
But aguess it wasn't his time, yet.

I haven't seen Ray, yet, but I wouldn't be sure that Jamie Fox wins; both DiCaprio and Depp have been nominated before and I have noticed that the Academy loves to give nods to those who have been nominated before but didn't get it back then. But we'll see.
