Title: Re: Family out in the Bizzard states.... Post by Sylvan on Jan 23rd, 2005, 1:24pm Knee deep in it. About 2 feet. Not too bad for up here in the mountains. Took about 2 hours to drive the 25 miles home from work last night. Finally finished digging up to the trucks. Then had to dig the dog outta the snow bank she fell into! Power is on and i now get to spend the rest of the day cooking. (Anyone for beef stroganoff?) Got some cool pics - will try to share them after J gets home from work - he took the camera - so i can't upload til then. |

Title: Re: Family out in the Bizzard states.... Post by cootie on Jan 23rd, 2005, 9:12pm Dam I am so sick of snow !! We got so much over the holidays (makein my bah humbugs even greater) it about buried the propane tank and it's a 500 gallon tank. Gas co said they would NOT come "if"......our driveway was not plowed and a path cleared and swept (excuse me ?) to the tank. Now that's a heart attack waitin ta happen esp if ya was almost out of gas !! Took em a week to get out here. I felt sorry for elderly people that NEEDED gas and could not do all that. Even if ya get yer driveway cleared by hirein a truck to do it.....what about that clear'd swept path deal ? We have a short driveway and not too far to the tank.........but either way......."they suck" Pam Yes I am whineing !!!! I've had enuff of this crap AND crap this winter........... |
