Title: Inauguration Day (non ch)
Post by Renee on Jan 20th, 2005, 8:22am
I feel very uneasy and anxious today.  I don't think anything will happen in D.C. today but possibly somewhere else in the country.

I'll be glad when today is over.

Frank,
Having any senses about today?  I sometimes have premonitions too....I'm very uncomfortable about today.

This is one day that I hope passes VERY quickly and safely for our country and the world.

I'm feeling a little "uneasy" today, also.  :-/  I forgot it was Inauguration day until just now. Hope it's an uneventful day.

I hate TV for letting them do this to people. The railing at the media for broadcasting nothing but bad news disappears when the inns want to use it of course; and they do so very effectively.

Keeping you and me worried or on edge is exactly what governments throughout history love to do. Don't let them overdo it.

Charlie

No worries Charlie...I don't fall for the fear fest the media (and the Administration) likes to stir up. I was just feeling uneasy this morning then I read this. Most likely I was uneasy because I've only got about 4 hours sleep a night for weeks. (I'm not complaining...I wasn't getting hit and I know many of you would kill for 4 hours)   Insomnia makes me uneasy, I guess...and tired.  :-/

It's a done deal Renee.  They are sworn in.  No matter what happens the rest of the day, you can rest in the comfort of knowing the Country will be in the hands of a competent Republican.

I've been out of touch since the inauguration this morning.

Hopefully I'll get an update in 50 minutes when the 10 pm news comes on.

Maybe, just maybe, it was just my happiness over having a fellow Texan in for another 4 years.   [smiley=laugh.gif]
