Title: Re: Daddy's little princess... Post by Lizzie2 on Jan 19th, 2005, 10:06am We have a rule in the nursery that it is impossible to spoil a baby...contrary to popular thought. :) Spoil away! |

Title: Re: Daddy's little princess... Post by Lizzie2 on Jan 19th, 2005, 10:25am Hirv did you buy her a comb yet? That hair is so cute!!! I think I'd rather leave it the way it is because it is so darn cute with the little spikey look. I think what would be really neat is get one of those tiny electric balls and put her hand against it.. See what that hair does then!!! :o |

Title: Re: Daddy's little princess... Post by Hirvimaki on Jan 19th, 2005, 10:38am I don't think Eveliina would appreciate it if I hooked Kaisa-Tinúviel up to a Van DeGraff Generator... LOL! Hirvimaki-Isi |

Title: Re: Daddy's little princess... Post by nani on Jan 19th, 2005, 11:40am I once heard a renowned child psychologist (whose name escapes me of course) say When you do anything for your child because YOU want to do it, it's not spoiling them. When you do it because THE CHILD wants you to, that's spoiling. And I'm a firm believer in totally indulging infants as far as holding and comforting them...that's how they learn to feel safe and secure. Just some "nani" wisdom...I've had a hand in raising dozens of the little buggers... :) |

An urichin, eh? Although she very well may be mischievous, I take great care in keeping her clean and well dressed..! Or did you mean something else? You know, come to think of it, urchin comes from Middle English, from Middle French herichon, heriçon, from Old French eriz, from Latin ericius, from eris, a hedgehog. Did you just call my daughter a hedgehog??? Geez... ;) Hirvimaki-Isi Anyone wanna play Scrabble? |

pfffffffffft [smiley=laugh.gif] I call them many names...mostly things like, "hey little stinker...." etc :) I had an 18 month old of a methadone mother come into the hospital to visit her the other day. He went running down the hall, so I scooped him up. I was wearing a green scrub top (in support of the Eagles) and I had a white long sleeve shirt under it as well as white scrub pants. Well...the "little stinker" had "big poop" and my white sleeved shirt got to turn a nice shade of brown.... On days like that...I'm not sure if I wanna love them and hug them or knock them on the head. j/k of course. :) I always love them...even when they are gross and stinky ;) Hedgehog is a new one...I'll have to incorporate that into my "baby lingo" :) |
