Dead red star
Hangs heavy and low
Calling me
Scraping my grinning skull
Bending my stark vacant bones
Into feline mercury tendons wired taut
With sinewy muscle as I
Extend obsidian stiletto claws and
Lap a furtive draught of shadows
Before launching into the hunt
Under the bloodmilk moon.

Thank you, Rori. Kind of a surreal sort of piece, but I was trying evoke an atmosphere... :)
