You're well on your way, Sean! I highly recommend Alan Carr's book, "The Only Way To Stop Smoking Permanently"

With each crave that comes, know that it is the mewling cry of a dying monster, and revel in it. With each crave, think to yourself, "How nice it is to be a non-smoker."

Live it. Be it. It's 99% mental. If you get a crave, take a look and say, "Where exactly am I physically hurting? Do I want to be a smoker for the rest of my life?"

You can do it and I believe in you. Drive on!!

I am quitting also. I went 11 years with out smoking. Then my son stressed me out with all his legal problems that I started smoking again. Tonight will be my last sigarette. Then I am cocmmitted to quitting as well. So pray for me also people. It isn't an easy thing to do.

I know it's hell now, but you're going to feel so much better!!!
Don't give in. Use whatever works to help: gum, patch, chewing on your pens, making tons of popcorn (maybe skip the butter), whatever. Fishermen's Friends and Cinnamon Altoids really helped me, the strong taste gives your tongue a satisfying tingle. And if you slip, don't beat yourselves up, just keep on quittin'.

Nice going and keep at it. You already smell better..... 8)

It will start to get a bit easier in a few days. After a week or so, you'll notice that you will forget one or two automatics. That's when you know you can do it.

Smoke free for 1/4 century.

In the Uk its abot £5 for a pack of fags thats about $8.50.

When i stoped my 20 a day a= i put the money in a jar instead of buying ciggarettes. after a year. wallah!!! £1825.00 enough for a great holiday in the maldives!!

Way to go !! I quite 3 months ago after reading Alan Carr's book, "The Only Way To Stop Smoking Permanently". I definatly recommend it too. Just believe you can do it, I mean really believe it! If you quit while subconciously thinking 'I cant do this, but I'll try just to prove I cant', you will fail.
