I was recently nearly insane and had thoughts of a permanent end to my chronic headaches. After reading these threads and demanding that my doc give me meds to combat the CHs, I have turned into a new person. I don't have such fear anymore that I will get another kip9 or 10 and just lose it.
This site and you people have saved me and my family. Thanks to all of you and hope that you can reach the same level of relief that I have gotten.

Sounds like you found this site just in time. Glad to hear you got the CH's under control. I think there are many who would've checked out long ago were it not for this board.

MAAANNNNNN!!!! I love Imitrex!!!.
1 more question for you people. I have noticed that when I take a sauna or hottub, that is almost a GUARANTEE that I will get a pretty bad headache. Anyone else notice this?
So last night I was feeling ballsy and took a hottub with the wife for a little while. Then I got a pretty bad headache. I took O2 for about 10 to 15 minutes and it wasnt really helping, so I did the Trex. In less then 10 minutes it was gone!!!
I get like a little school girl cause I get the giggles when it goes away. For so long, I would have to ride out the pain, but now I have O2 and Trex to take my head back from the beast. I just get a giggle that won't stop cause I have body slammed the beast and kicked it's a$$. Its SOOOOOOO damn nice to be in control.
For any of you that have not taken control, I STRONGLY advise you do so. I have found drugs/oxygen that help me, and I'm sure you can too. DO IT. You will be a NEW PERSON for your family and business associates!!

Seriously I hear ya ....I went a decade untreated 18cycles. When I (actually my wife)found this place I finally found help and went to a neuro and on my way.

You have a kick A$$ attitude keep going and stick around for others regardless of your situation!
