Title: Threading The Needle Post by Jeepgun on Jan 14th, 2005, 1:38pm Threading The Needle Slipping through the gate of my brow on a breath sweet with the names of God. Puncture, shatter, falling through the dome of bluesky high and singing the song that explodes to fill everyting of the world with everything in my heart. When i return if i return i will not be the one i was before my eyelids closed and i began falling falling falling Azure velocity measured only by a haphazard guess that flees from me faster than i can say it. The sea is a blue speck spreading wider and sickening dread-dizzy flatter until i am swollen and torn from i. Stark terror slicing through my guts ripped rupturing split open to give birth to the new sea, the flaming sky, ponderously creeping mountains, impossible fathoms of a new i, and with a sigh and smile, i open my eyes and consider how very fine a glass of water would be. -Frank H. Title: Re: Threading The Needle Post by Jeepgun on Jan 14th, 2005, 6:50pm Thank you... This poem is about the inner work of contemplation and going within... Sometimes, it comes in a whisper, and other times, it's like the whole universe is splitting open... :) |
