My cousin lives in Sarasota with his wife, but that's where us kids have "grown up" in Florida because my grandparents have owned their apartment there since 1972. My cousin used to have (or maybe still has?) a very built up Jeep Wrangler, but my grandparents have always had the typical "Buick" The worst is that my grandfather has a fused hip from having TB of the bone in his early teens I think. He can't really look when changing lanes...which is...ummm...a little unnerving as a passenger in the car!!! I remember my grandparents picking up my best friend and I from the airport in Tampa one time, and Cathy and I were actually holding hands in the back of the car hoping that we weren't going to die!!! haha People drive scary in Florida! |
