Title: Re: Good vibrations Post by Cathi04 on Jan 13th, 2005, 9:33am Umm, Nan? As to who has more on their plate?? You amaze me.......thinking about me?? Thank you, all, for your vibes. They are appreciated. After a week of fighting white counts and fevers, we finally got her into surgery yesterday. The insidious C word is, again, a reality. Gathering my ammunition and heading to the hospital again, right now. Again, thank you, all, Be well Cathi |

She will be out of ICU tomorrow, with luck, and home in 2 weeks.....and I cant wait! It is no fun to come face-to-face with your mom's mortality twice in one lifetime. Kiss your mothers, gang........... Cathi ....................oh, and again, thank you for the Good, Good Good Vibrations!!!! |

C... I've been at that crossroads many times with my own mother. I feel for you hun. The Brain Surgery back in 1999, the colon cancer surgery 3 months ago, and the continued issues with her dimentia for the last 4 years has been a trial by fire to keep some semblance of sanity and order in my life. Least my Brother and I are closer now than we have ever been. The rest of my siblings can suck eggs as far as I'm concerned. Love you dear...and hang in there...Mom was given a big thumbs up from her Oncologist just this Friday when I took her in for her three month check up. I'm sending vibes that your Mother fairs as well at hers. |
