Umm, Nan? As to who has more on their plate?? You amaze me.......thinking about me??
Thank you, all, for your vibes. They are appreciated. After a week of fighting white counts and fevers, we finally got her into surgery yesterday. The insidious C word is, again, a reality. Gathering my ammunition and heading to the hospital again, right now.

OK, second surgery complete.............Mom's colon is free of cancer at this point...and she is lighter by a gallbladder.
She will be out of ICU tomorrow, with luck, and home in 2 weeks.....and I cant wait!
It is no fun to come face-to-face with your mom's mortality twice in one lifetime.

Nani.and Jeepieguy...and................again...thank you! Headed to the hospital, and you can be sure that one teeny tiny little ole lady is gonna know Clusterville is cheering her on! She's a strong-willed woman at best but with Clusterville on her side........well, all I can say is HER mom will be 100 this July........we've got a LOT of living to do!

It constantly amazes me the strength everyone here shows daily - I don't know what I will do when I no longer have my Mom here with me. God Bless you and speedy get well wishes on the way!

OHHH, YESSS!!! Mom is out of ICU, loopy as all getout..LOVE that morphine sleep.The stories she is telling are right out of an acid trip....and she's calling me her 'beautiful widdle baby"!
