Title: Who? Post by Jeepgun on Jan 11th, 2005, 7:22am Who Big blue dream... Brain rearranged and personality scattered to windblown ashes. Who am i? Who is this person that says "i"? What was the dream? i can't remember. i can't remember a thing, except the most exquisite, brilliant, deep blue. Layer upon layer of light, hue after hue, Blue drowning in blue with no point of reference no sky, floor, walls, ceiling, horizon.... My very atoms have been shattered and i am not the same person who lied down to sleep last night. Sleep... A sleep that felt longer than the ages, and awakening like Lazarus, shuffling forth from that other world, still trailing the ragged shroud of who i was. Or who i am. Or perhaps "i" has become superfluous and really doesn't exist at all, and maybe, never did. Big, beautiful, blue dream, drink into your light once again, whoever this is that i dream that i am. What i once knew, i have forgotten. Who i was has become some mysterious stranger from a dark and foreign continent. Shall i be dust? Rain? Wind or sky? A mote of tangerine sunlight drifting through sepia dustshot afternoon? i can be anything and i am nothing and i am all things, and i come full circle back to that same nagging question: Who is this "i"? as I sink into sacred sleep with a smile on my lips, and my being dissolved in this sea of longing. -Frank H.
