Invent the "keyboard sneeze guard" Steve.  Good for dust and nose-sprayed coffee too.

KOP,
Try This (http://grandtec.com/vik.htm) if you keep ruining keyboards. It is slow, not for speed typers, but you can wash it.

I never had that problem becouse I have keyboards stacked like cord wood LOL.

Paul,

We had a few of those keyboard tried at work.  I didn't mind it at all but in the spacebar it needed one more sensor, I kept hitting a spot with my thumb that corresponded directly where there was too much space between them.  There were five in the spacebar and it needed six.  Lots of people didn't care too much for them but I can get used to anything, except they're not as accomondating for speed, as you said, typing while slumped sideways in my chair at work with my feet on the desk.

I know how you feel bro. On my 3rd keyboard in one year.
I'd get too mad at those indestructable keyboards. It's bad enough a finger injury slowed down my typing a bit, but if the keyboard was unresponsive, it would go out the window too, aiming for the dumpster, of course.  ;;D

This   (http://www.kador.com/leaflet1.htm)may be a better solution, especially if used on a quailty keyboard.

Yes the ulitimate keyboard is harder to use, especially the space bar.
