Title: pain free last night Post by john_d on Jan 8th, 2005, 10:22am No Ch hits last night, slept from one end of the night to the other. I am not being hopeful though, hope brings dissappointment which causes me even more anguish. But I am very glad I was able to sleep through the night for once. The night before last was the worst. I did not catch the first one with the O2 in time and it was a screamer. I was so sore from the first one that I did not have enough pain-freeness to catch the second one with O2 on time (does that make sense?). Tonight the O2 will be on the ready, trying to sleep light enough so that if I get shadows I will wake up to catch it on time. Hope everyone is doing well. Thanks all. |

Title: Re: pain free last night Post by Redd715 on Jan 8th, 2005, 11:07am I remember this summer...my first PF night in nearly three months..I woke up and was so happy I wanted to go dance nekked in the rain...I came here and posted about it too...I didn't care what anyone thought...I felt liberated. I totally understand that feeling of dread however as the beast returned full boar again during the day, but I was rested enough to fight again, and that was when I knew I was stronger than pain. Enjoy this John..there will be more of those in your future...I feel it in my bones! |

Title: Re: pain free last night Post by bigred on Jan 8th, 2005, 12:02pm I agree john, If the one that woke me up is turned into the screamer, The head doesnt seam to rehibilitate quick enough to end them for the night. You lose the first and the rest of the night is a series of short naps surrounded by mini quakes. Not enough to kill or maim, but enough to say your rest for that night is lost. Glad you had a good night, keep your fingers crossed. bigred |

Title: Re: pain free last night Post by RichardN on Jan 8th, 2005, 1:12pm Way to go John - - and glad you got the 02 Did you ever, when you were a kid/teenager, dream that you were getting up and getting dressed in response to parents "rise and shine", then to wake and find you were way behind in the morning routine? . . . . had that happen night before last . . . .I dreamed that I woke, reached over and hit the 02 and couldn't understand why it wasn't working . . . just getting worse . . . finally I really woke up . . .. deeper into the HA then normal (arround KIP 5) , but the 02 brought him under control without having to "dance" Love my oxygen, PFDANs Richard |

Title: Re: pain free last night Post by taraann on Jan 8th, 2005, 1:25pm That's wonderul John! You don't realize how precious sleep is until you continuously don't get it! Like my old doc said, sleep can be a trigger, then lack of sleep can be a trigger, then it turns into a vicous cycle! I used to get my best housework done (when i was episodic and outta cycle) at night when everyone was asleep. Do you all remember back in the day when sleep wasn't important? What's that saying...."You know when you are getting old when sleep is more important than sex" LMAO Wow what a babble^ |

Even one day gives the edge back to you and will put the fight back in so you can move on... I am hoping that your cycle ends really soon. Don't let it get the best of you... Believe and it will end... love to you and another Pain Free Cozy Winter Day...<3Ree |
